About UsBeaudesert Country Tourism Inc. is a non-profit incorporated organisation with a membership drawn from individuals, business, industry stakeholders and organisations with an interest in promotion and development of tourism in Beaudesert Shire.A major step forward through the previous year (2005) was certainly the amalgamation of Tamborine Mountain Tourism Association Inc. (est. 2000) and Beaudesert Shire Tourism Development Organisation (est.2000). Beaudesert Country Tourism was born! The key purpose of this event was to provide tourism operators with one recognised Local Tourism Organisation to represent what is a very large part of South East Queeensland , 2854.4 square kilometres of it, to be more precise. This includes Southern Shire (Kooralbyn, Rathdowney, Mt Barney, Mt Lindsay & Mt Maroon: Gateway to the Scenic Rim), Eastern Shire (Lamington, Binna Burra, Tamborine Mountain and Canungra), Central Beaudesert Township and even extends to include North Shire (Greenbank, North Maclean, Gleneagle, Jimboomba, Logan Village and Chambers Flat). Another natural progression for the newly combined organisation is the recognition and support from Government Bodies, Gold Coast Tourism our Regional Tourism Organisation, Tourism Queensland and business groups. While continually fostering and enhancing the strong relationship and partnerships with Beaudesert Shire Council, Beaudesert Shire Visitor Information Centres, Local Chambers of Commerce and Local Community Organisations. This will help us as an organisation to further improve the position of Beaudesert Shire as a desirable tourist destination while showing a strong commitment to economic and environmental sustainability. Beaudesert Country Tourism will implement a caring and viable commitment to excellence while enhancing the visitor experience. This will ensure a positive result for Beaudesert Shire Local Residents, Local Business, Community Groups and visitors to our beautiful shire. Tourism touches everyone in our beautiful shire Beaudesert Country Tourism hope to provide the right vision and management to make sure that it touches them in the best way.
